Published Again!

I am pleased to have an essay featured in For Harriet...

I've identified as a feminist for many years but never have I fully embraced the essentialist view of feminism as “The advocacy of women’s rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.” Whether intended or not, this narrative has been part and parcel of the white imagination. It’s safe, efficient, expedient, and more often than not, class and race exclusive.

Next week, I have a revised essay being published in Black Girl Dangerous...
I love these moments!
